Elm Park is a neighborhood on Staten Island, one of the five boroughs of New York City. It is located in the northwestern part of the borough and is bordered by Port Richmond to the west, West New Brighton to the east, and Castleton Corners to the south.

The area now known as Elm Park was originally inhabited by the Raritan people, who were part of the Lenape tribe. The Lenape were a group of Native Americans who lived in what is now New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New York. They were displaced from their homeland by European settlers in the seventeenth century.

Elm Park, which gave its name to the former Elm Park Station on the North Shore Branch of the Staten Island Railway, is sometimes used to refer to the neighborhood that extends from its namesake westward for a few blocks. Morningstar Road lay just underneath the station. A deteriorated relic of the station’s platform still stands, but the stairways leading to the street have been demolished. Passenger service on this section of the railway was stopped in 1953.
